Soccer is a very fun sport but it can be dangerous. There are many ways to get injured while playing soccer. If you ever get a serious injury, like a broken bone, the first thing to do is to not panic. The ref will most likely blow the whistle and the medics will remove you off the field. Your healing time could vary between 4 to 6 weeks if you break your wrist to 10 to 16 weeks if you break a bone in the leg. Spraining is very common in soccer too. You have to ice the wrist or ankle to stop the swelling then put it in some warm water. Recovery time can vary from a couple of weeks to months depending on the severity. You could can get a concussion easily if you hit the ball with your head or have a head on collision with another player. If you get a concussion, go to the hospital ASAP. Don’t fall asleep because there is a chance you might not wake up. Until the doctor tells you that you can leave the hospital you can leave and live life as normal, but try to avoid hitting your head.
